It was there that I spent thousands of hours practicing and honing my skills. Due to lack of financing, I learned to play without the benefit of professional coaching. I became a N.J. State Indoor Champion 1983 and a Bergen County High School Champion in 1984. I obtained a tennis scholarship and attended the University of Evansville, where I was a 2-time Midwestern Collegiate Conference Champion and graduated as an Academic All American in 1988. From there I went on to play professionally while simultaneously directing All Pro Tennis. Ultimately, I earned a world ranking on the ATP Tour in both singles and doubles from 1993-1995.
